Dental Implants

Dental implants are metal(titanium) post surgically placed in the jawbone beneath the gum. Dental implants are a restorative procedure used to replace a single missing tooth or multiple missing teeth. Arch Dental Wembley offers patients: single implant placement, multiple implant placement, and an implant retained bridge. Unlike dentures that may become slippery and fall off the mouth, dental implants do not move.

Dental implants might be recommended to patients:

• If there is missing tooth/teeth
• After a gum disease which cause wobbly or weakened teeth
• After a severe root canal infection and others

Upon a thorough consultation, we will assess the health of the bone and gum in order to prepare a treatment plan. Sometimes, unhealthy teeth might be extracted before an implant is placed. In this case, a healing process will take place before the implant is placed. Once the implant is placed, there is a second stage of healing time. The final stage involved placing a custom made crown/s either Ceramic or same-day Cerec crowns.

Dentures

Dentures are removable dental appliances designed to replace missing teeth. We offer patients, a full denture that replaces an entire row of teeth, as well as partial denture that replaces few missing teeth. Partial dentures can be attached with metal clasps or precision attachments.
Removable Dentures are also a cost-effective alternative to implants and full mouth implant restorations.

After a thorough consultation, patients are advised which denture type is better and if any teeth require taking out. Rotten, wobbly, or teeth with decay might be extracted, however many patients come with already missing teeth. Normally dentures are not placed immediately after teeth are taken out to allow the gum to heal. Dentures are custom made to precisely fit the mouth. Eating with dentures takes some time until the patient becomes used to it. Further instructions are provided to patients after the denture placement.
